Here is my other project that I am working on alongside the DL44 blaster, which I'm not sure if I will be able to finish or not. I think that this grenade is turning out quite well so far; not exactly like the reference image but quite close, and still interesting looking. Once again, when I finish it I doubt that there will be any way for me to texture it to the detail that the reference image has. Hopefully someone else will be able to do so. Anyways, judge for yourselves and give me the feedback!

cool, IMO i think that the channel(or crack) down the middle needs to be bigger, also the square black ridges on the button to the left need to be raised more so they are abit more individual.

I will try to make the crack bigger but in that picture I actually haven't raised the black ridges. I am in the process of doing that as we speak. I'll post another update soon. And remember guys, if you don't like it you can say so (not that you don't, I'm just making sure you guys know it's ok to ridicule me lol)

Definitely, I want this mod to be as awesome as possible. This is especially true since I love Star Wars so much and making it into a graphically amazing game... whew, that's a dream fulfilled

Ok, here's some more updated pictures with some painted on textures (textures were only applied to the sphere part of the grenade, not the red light nor the buttons). I doubt you guys will like them, but at least I figured out how to do some wear and tear marks onthe grenade. I need very specific advice on what to change for texturing, namely, what hue, whether it should be lighter or darker, and so forth.

I think the proper name for it is the Thermal Detonator, like the one Leia uses in ROTJ. All I can say is so far so good. I hated how in the original GC there were no Thermal Detonators, and instead we got stick grenades, since thermal detonators would be the ideal choice for grenades.

looks cool, but i think the crack needs to be constant. if you could get it to work it would look great!

That's the big problem. I will try to fix it, but if I can't I can always scrap the grenade project and start working on something else (like my jedi starfighter )
