You have made a really nice falcon model but i noticed some errors that i wanted to bring to your attention. I'll provide pictures to show more detail of what I'm talking about. First the front mandables look slanted on you model, but on the real model they are actually flat. Also the center peice that goes from the quad blasters to the mandables isn't solid on the front, it is hollow. Finally, the 4 ports on the mandables are indented not raised. www.starshipmodeler.com/starwars/mf_mndb.jpgAlso the main body looks a little small, especially in the engine section. www.starshipmodeler.com/starwars/refpix/ms_M016.JPGThere are a few more areas I could point out but it's your model and I don't want to take away the uniqueness of it and I don't want to sound too anal . But if you want you can check out this site that has thel models used from the movies. It might also help with the x-wing as well. www.starshipmodeler.com/starwars/smith_sw.htm

Thanks for the tips, I'm currently workin on a low poly version of the falcon (around 7000k) and I think I can fix the most thing you said. But I will have to remove a lot of detail, so the mandables will be deleted, and be done with textures instead. The front will be fixed ASAP and I think I'll make the ship a bit bigger like you said. also thanks for the site, I think it will be quite usefull. :-)
ps my xwing project is canceled because aquila already made one.
