rybot i think that because else more people would complain about why only 1 shot at a time, it doesnt do enof damages. and so on. in x-wing rouge (the classic first one) you fire 1 shot, dual shots of 4 shots at a time. ofcorse the ultimate thing would be to be able to do that in bf2 to, but it thats not possible then i would still like to see atleast dual fire (top left bottum right and the other way) or quad fire.
i always had the feeling with the x-wing with 1 shot do bea bit weak, but thats just my personal fealing

And yes the texture does look low res, but that's because I only found out after I did up the renders that if you have the AA on area mode (as I did) it makes EVERYTHING blurry, they're actually at 2048x2048 and look much much clearer than that when rendered properly.

Hi today we're going to have a small update just showing off a few pictures of the completed X-Wing. It just looked so awesome and great that we felt we needed to make an update about it! It was modeled by Aquila and textured by ramseus. Oh and thanks again for the people that signed up after our last week's update. We need all the help we can get. Our new site is almost done. We just have to add the content and fix up a few bugs. It will be up by this Friday's update. Here's the link to our current website if you want to sign up for the team. bf2firststrike.proboards33.com/Now for the screenshots. the model looks good, but is not like the real one Greetz Dragunov

I think the lower part of the cockpit should be diagonal. If you noticed in dragunov's pictures they're all slanted, but the model is flat at the base.

i always had the feeling with the x-wing with 1 shot to be a bit weak, but thats just my personal feeling Actually, with Rogue Squadron on the N64, you could change the fire mode. It would fire from all 4 wing tip blasters.

We can and most likely will add multiple firing modes for the X-Wing and other aircraft. I had a game for DOS called X-Wing and there were several differant fire modes for the X-Wing. There was the single shot, the all four shot, and the diagonal shot where it fired from two blasters on the oposite sides of the wings. One from the top right, the lower left and vise versa. This is the game I'm talking about: www.abandonia.com/games/375/download/StarWarsXWingCollectorsEdition.htm

wtf... thoese things aren't textured? If you're talking about the medical frigrate, yes, it's textured. It's a DOS game, what did you expect? High resolution textures, bumpmaps, and advanced lighting?
