my disc thingy got screwed!!

so after 2 hours of modelling a new disc for the cannon/chatting with friends/eating cake, all i got was this, it realli sucks and i need help with it.

the one attached is the one i'm working on, the other one is the old one i used for size comparison

nahh....its on 3dmax 7....i i found out why it look like crap, apparently, i've lost a vertice......again
